Dorothea “Dottie” Barbara (Tenney) Cordell, 91, of Hilo died Jan. 1 at home. She was the youngest member of the country-western band The Tenney Sisters, and entertained on radio, TV and stage from the late 1940s to the early 1960s, toured nationally and shared the stage with Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, Gabby Hayes, Tex Ritter and The Three Stooges. They were inducted into the Massachusetts Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008. Private celebration of life at a later date. No flowers.
